The paths our ancestors travelled are still there. They live through Country, through the waterways, through our stories and through us as people. Songlines remind us that we are connected to something much bigger than ourselves.

There is also a sense of trust in following a songline, trusting the knowledge passed down by our ancestors and trusting Country to guide us. Even when we might not know where the journey will take us, our culture and our connection to Country remind us that we are never truly lost.
