SCHOOL AND EARLY LEARNING PROGRAMS
Culture is best when it’s shared. Whether it’s their first time holding a boomerang or painting with ochre, every child walks away feeling part of something bigger. We love creating a space where every kid belongs and every story matters.
Cultural Days
Take your school’s cultural learning to the next level with a full Bundjalung Cultural Rotation Day — a unique, immersive experience where students move through a series of hands-on cultural activity stations, each facilitated by members of the Bundjalung Nation.
Students rotate through:
• 🪃 Boomerang Throwing — learn the traditional technique and the story behind this iconic tool
• 🧺 Weaving — connect with ancient fibre art traditions passed down through generations
• 🌿 Bush Tucker Education — discover native plants, foods and their uses in Bundjalung culture
• 💃 Traditional Dance — move to the rhythm of Country and learn the meaning behind the movement
• 🎨 Aboriginal Artwork — create their own piece using traditional symbols and techniques guided by our artist
This is a full-day program that can be tailored to your year group and curriculum needs. It’s hands-on, memorable and genuinely brings culture to life for students of all ages.
